Arizmendi Bakery

Do you or someone you know love baking? We're looking for another worker-owner to join us!

Arizmendi Bakery Cooperative is a worker-owned and operated bakery, specializing in sourdough artisan breads, morning pastries, sweets and vegetarian pizzas. Workers share in all aspects of operating the business, including baking, serving customers, cleaning, ordering, maintenance and finance. We provide training for the baking shifts and other non-production committee roles. As a democratically run cooperative, we attend general meetings once a month to seek consensus on all important decisions.

After six months of employment, you will have the opportunity to become co-owner of the business along with all other existing members.

We currently pay $30/hour and offer full benefits including health, dental and a 401k. Employment ranges from 25-35 hours/week.
